Mission Statement – WAVAW’s  Raise It Up Youth Program educates young people about the root causes of violence and empowers them to actively create change in their community.  

Raise It Up is an innovative program aimed at preventing violence. This program reaches out to teenagers in Vancouver high schools using thought-provoking and engaging activities created specifically for youth. Raise It Up works to build awareness about violence and motivates young people to take action in making their communities safer for everyone.
